Documents to be used abroad, or filed with a government office, often need to be certified or prepared in the form the receiving office asks for. B Law Firm certifies signatures and documents (notary public services) and handles the registrations that go with them.
How we can help
- Certifying signatures and documents for use abroad.
- Registering a company.
- Registering a marriage or a divorce for foreigners.
- Applying for a work permit.
- Checking the list of documents and the form the receiving office needs before anything is certified or translated.
When to talk to a lawyer
- An authority or a company abroad asks for a certified signature or certified copies of documents.
- You are setting up a company and want the registration documents right from the start.
- You are a foreigner who wants to register a marriage or a divorce in Thailand.
- Your company wants to employ a foreign worker and needs a work permit.
What to prepare before you talk to us
Have these ready for the lawyer when you talk. In the online form a short summary is enough; please do not send important documents or confidential details yet.
- The list of documents and the kind of certification the receiving office wants, in writing if possible.
- The original documents, and the signer’s ID card or passport.
- To set up a company: the name you want, the shareholders, the directors, the registered capital and the office address.
- The date by which you need the documents.
What happens when you contact us
- Send us your matter through the online consultation form, LINE or email, telling us only what we need for a first assessment.
- A lawyer calls you back to ask about the facts and the documents, and tells you plainly about the prospects and the limits of your matter.
- We agree the scope of work and the fees before any work starts. Our fees match the actual scope of work, are transparent and carry no hidden charges.
- We act for you once we have confirmed in writing that we are taking on your matter. Sending the form alone does not make us your lawyers.
If your matter has a legal deadline, such as a court date, a limitation period or a filing deadline, please call the firm directly as soon as possible rather than waiting for a reply to a form or an email.
This page gives general information, not legal advice on any particular matter. Every matter turns on its own facts, so please talk to a lawyer before you decide.
