This is an English translation of our Thai privacy policy, provided for your convenience. If the two differ, the Thai version prevails.
B LAWFIRM COMPANY LIMITED (บริษัท บี ลอว์เฟิร์ม จำกัด, company registration no. 0105556089433), trading as B Law Firm ("the firm" or "we"), takes the personal data of the people who contact us seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use and look after the data we receive through the website bwinlawfirm.com, and what rights you have.
The data we collect
- Data from the online lawyer consultation form: your first name, last name, phone number, email, the type of case, the amount in dispute and the details you tell us, as well as the language you filled in the form in, so that the lawyer can call you back in that language. Please share only what is needed for a first assessment; you can tell the lawyer further details directly later.
- Website usage statistics, such as the pages opened, the time spent and how you reached the site, as described under "Cookies and usage statistics" below.
What we use the data for
- To call you back, assess your matter and give the initial advice you asked for. This is a step taken at your request before entering into a contract.
- To improve the website, its content and our services from the usage statistics, which is a legitimate interest of the firm. Remembering your browser with a statistics cookie follows the website terms of use, and you can decline it at any time.
Cookies and usage statistics
- We use our own statistics system, and the data stays in the firm's own system only. We use no third-party analytics tools, no advertising pixels and no marketing cookies.
- The statistics system records the pages you open, the time spent on each page, how far you scroll, the website or app that brought you here, your type of device, browser, operating system and the language set on it, clicks on links and buttons (only the text on the button and the page the link leads to), starting or sending a form, your screen size, your device's time zone (which tells us the country roughly, instead of your IP address) and errors that occur on the page in your browser. If a form cannot be sent, we record only the names of the fields that need correcting, never what you typed. Visits by automated programs (bots) are kept apart and are not counted in the statistics.
- Under the website terms of use, section "Cookies and website statistics", by using the website you accept the statistics cookie (bw_vid), which holds a random code for 13 months so that we know this browser has visited before. If you send the consultation form, we link your visits to this website with the details you sent, to improve our advice and the way we communicate. This applies unless you press "Decline" or your browser sends a do-not-track signal.
- If you press "Decline" in the cookie section of the terms of use, we delete the bw_vid cookie and count visits anonymously: a daily code is calculated from your IP address and browser details together with a random value that is deleted within 2 days. We do not record your IP address, set no statistics cookie, and do not link the statistics to any form you send.
- When you press "Accept" or "Decline", your answer is kept in the bw_consent cookie for 13 months. You can change your mind at any time in the cookie section of the website terms of use, or with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the page, which leads there.
- If your browser signals that it does not want to be tracked (Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control), we count your visits anonymously only, unless you press "Accept" yourself.
- If you choose the website's language (Thai, English or Chinese), we remember your choice in the locale cookie for 1 year. It holds only the language code and is not used to track or identify you.
- There are also cookies the website needs to work, such as the cookie that lets forms be sent securely.
Disclosure of data
We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to anyone else for marketing. Data may be disclosed to the service providers who run our systems, such as our server and email providers, as far as they need it to provide their service, or when the law or an order of a government authority requires it.
How long we keep data
- Data from the consultation form is kept for as long as it is needed to advise you and follow up on your matter. If you do not go on to engage us, we delete it or make it impossible to identify you within 2 years of your last contact with us.
- Website usage statistics are kept to follow long-term trends and are not deleted on a schedule. Statistics counted anonymously cannot be traced back to you. The link between your visits and a form you sent (where the website remembered your browser) is removed when you ask, as described under "Your rights".
Security
We keep data in systems where access is limited to the people involved, and use an encrypted connection (HTTPS) between your browser and the website.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019), you have the right to access your data and obtain a copy of it, to have it corrected, to have it deleted or its use restricted, to object to its use, to have it transferred, and to withdraw any consent you have given. You may also complain to the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee if you believe we have not complied with the law.

To exercise your rights or ask about your personal data, contact B Law Firm by email at contact@bwinlawfirm.com or by phone on 02-744-2290.
